Both Things Are True: Hold Grief and Gratitude Without Choosing

$22.00

Both Things Are True is a short recorded light language transmission for the moments life asks you to pick a side: grateful or grieving, afraid or trusting, loving or angry. It steadies the heart in the both-and, in real time. Complete on its own, and a natural pairing with the Radical Gratitude event in the Events section.

Both Things Are True: Hold Grief and Gratitude Without Choosing

A lot of people in this community were taught, somewhere along the way, that their feelings had a ranking. High ones were allowed. Low ones put everything on hold. So when grief arrived, or fear, or anger, a second job started immediately: get out of it, find the better thought, be grateful instead. That second job is exhausting, and it never quite works, because the original feeling did not go anywhere. It just got a guard posted on it.

This transmission takes the guard off. It is deliberately short, because it is meant for the moment itself, not for a practice session: the phone call that lands badly, the anniversary, the news that arrives while you are still standing in the kitchen. Ken and the Divine Authority use light language to release the rule that you must feel good for good things to come, and to widen the heart just enough that the other truths in the room can be seen at the same time. Grief and gratitude. Fear and trust. Many people describe the effect as the frame getting bigger rather than the feeling getting smaller.

It stands entirely on its own, and because it is built for daily use it tends to be the one people keep coming back to. It also pairs with Radical Gratitude, Ken’s two-hour event on emotional capacity in the Events section, which builds this wider frame over nine phases. This recording is the pocket version you carry afterward.

What it works with

  • The ranking of feelings into allowed and not allowed
  • The rule that you must feel good before good things can come
  • The second job of managing an emotion instead of having it
  • Holding two true things at once without picking a side
  • Gratitude that does not require pretending

How to use it

  • In the moment, when one feeling has filled the whole frame
  • Sitting, standing, walking; it does not need you lying down
  • Daily if you like; it is short enough to become a habit

Works with

  • The Radical Gratitude event (Events section, live or replay)
  • Best in the weeks after, whenever the old ranking tries to come back
  • Complete on its own if you never attend the event
