Unclenched: Jaw, Facial & Cranial Release
Date November 11, 2026 · Time 8:00pm EST – 8:30pm EST · Location Virtual · Cost $44
Unclench your jaw. Soften your tongue. Relax your eyes. Let your shoulders fall.
If your body answered just now, it has probably been holding on for a while. Tension like this rarely starts in the muscles. It starts with the part of us that braces: for the next email, the hard conversation, the night ahead. Relaxing on purpose helps for a minute, and then the brace comes back.
Unclenched works with the whole pattern, the body and the bracing underneath it, one area at a time. Many people notice the tongue resting lower and the breath reaching further down by the end of the call, and some wake in the following days with a jaw that has finally had a night off.
What this event works with
- Clenching during the day and grinding at night
- Tired, strained eyes from screens and close focus
- The tight band around the head that comes with concentration and worry
- A neck and shoulders that hold up more than the head
- Biting back words, needs and feelings
What happens in the room (five phases, 40 points, three Wild Cards)
The Jaw
Releasing both jaw joints and the chewing muscles, easing daytime clenching and night-time grinding, and finding true rest.
The Mouth, Face and Head
Easing pressure through the teeth, gums and tongue, and softening the eyes, brow, temples and scalp.
The Neck and Shoulders
Releasing the base of the skull and the neck, so the shoulders come down and the breath has room.
The Inner Brace
Clearing the vigilance, perfectionism and swallowed words that keep the body guarded, even through sleep.
This is for you if
- Your dentist has mentioned grinding, or you wake with a sore jaw
- Your face and shoulders tighten whenever you concentrate
- You would like to know what your body feels like when it is not braced
